Changes from Medieval Japan to modern day Japan
A few facts about what has changed from medieval and modern day Japan
Obviously there are many changes from Medieval Japan and modern day japan one would be the population difference, the population now is 127,817,277 people.
Back in medieval time they had a Emperor in their fuedal system now they have a prime minister which is part of the parliemnt and constitutional monarchy and which unlike the Emperor is in control of the whole of Japan.
Some things that has stayed is the Japanese language, tea ceremonies and Zen buddhism which is a big part of Japans religion and was discovered by the samurai warriors.
Religion was very important in Medieval Japan especially for the samurai as they meditate every chance they get , but now it is not as important to people, about 1% follow christianity!! Shinto and Buddhism being the main religions being worshiped
Another thing that has changed is in medival time Kyoto was the capital city of japan now Tokyo is the capital city. There is a map below showing where both cities are.
