Japanese Fuedal - Highest rank to lowest
Emperor: The emperor was the highest rank in the japanese fuedal system even though all there power was taken away by the shogun, the Emperor gave the title of shogun to the countrys top millitary Comander. If there was no Emperor the the people would not follow the shogun
SHOGUN: The shogun was the highest millitary Comander, The shogun was 2nd in line to be the Emperor, he did most of the work. The shogun was the real leader of the country.
Daimyo: The Daimyo was a powerfull warlord, His Job was to protect his land and people, if they are very succsefull they can take the title of the Shogun! He mainly had complete power in the millitary. There millitary was mainly built up of Samurais
Samurai: The Samurai swore an oath to there daimyo which was there leader in the millitary to fight for them, They Held higher command then the peasants, The carried two Swords while fighting one small sword and one bigger sword. The Samurai have complete honour or 'Way Of the Warrior" also named Bushido. If they broke the Bushido code they would commit Suicide (Seppuku), Women were not aloud to become a Samurai
Peasants: Pesants were formed in to sub classes, the highst ranked peasants did the farming, and farmers who owned their owned land were ranked higher than other farmers. Then there was Craftsman and artisans were the second highest rank they worked with wood and metal making the swords for samurais. When they began using money the peasants became much more wealthy
